  • News update: April 21, 2004 - Well, life as we know it has changed for good. No more plopping Alex amongst his toys and going to do dishes or watch some TV. Nope, the easy days are over; Alex is a four-wheeling machine. Forward crawling has commenced with a gusto. No electronic unit, power cord, or furry cat is safe. Ah well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. :) Oh, and because crawling for a couple of days wasn't good enough, he has now started pulling himself up on anything and everything within reach. I figure he'll be running by sometime next week. I'll keep you posted.

  • News update: April 5, 2004 - So much has happened in the last few weeks. Alex had a wonderful visit from his Grandma Hall. He is now officially sitting up on his own. And his Uncle John finally made Sara a true and official Aunt...actually, Alex's Grandfather Russell was the one to "officially" make Sara an Aunt, but John started it! (For those who don't know, Paul's brother John got married on March 27th and their father Jim Russell officiated the marriage. It was a blast!)

  • Just when you thought it couldn't get more exciting...today Alex pushed himself up onto all fours! He also had his very first swimming lesson at the YMCA, and his second bottom tooth has begun creeping through. So exciting!

  • More news in the life of Alex, as of February 19th 2004, he has begun to cut his first tooth! Very exciting, I know.

  • December 31st 2003, Alexander gave his mommy the best New Years present ever...he slept for 8 count them 8 solid hours! It was the first full night sleep his mommy had in 4 months and 3 days! Yay!!!

  • December 30th 2003, Alexander found his ears. I know this may not seem significant, but the ear pulling resulted in a trip to the doctor (can you say hypochondriac?) where we found that our very healthy baby now weighs 14 lbs 6 oz.

  • November 28th 2003, Alexander started laughing! Carol and Lou Paolillo were babysitting, and apparently they're pretty funny because Alex's funny bone was tickled and he's been smiling and laughing many times a day since.

  • October 10th 2003, Alexander had his second visit with the pediatrician. He weighed in at 10 lbs .098 oz, and they said he looked extremely healthy. He got his first round of vaccinations, he and mom both cried over it. We have both since recovered and today (the 11th) we're going pumpkin picking.

  • We want to issue a huge "Thank you!" to everyone who has been so generous throughout the pregnancy and since the birth of Alexander. The phone calls, gifts, visits, and well wishes really have meant alot to us and have helped us tremendously over the passed few months. We are so very greatful to all of our family and friends for their support. - Paul, Chris, and Alex
